This page features a few examples of banners that I designed while working at Signarama Hicksville. Designing banners involves applying core graphic design principles such as hierarchy, contrast, alignment, and balance to create visually compelling signage. Effective use of typography, including font pairing and kerning, ensures readability, while a strong color palette with proper saturation and contrast enhances visibility. Incorporating elements like negative space, grid systems, and visual flow helps guide the viewer’s eye toward the key message. High-resolution imagery, vector graphics, and proper scaling maintain clarity across different sizes, while branding elements like logos and consistent visual identity reinforce recognition and cohesion.
